Where to Eat in Bečići: An Honest Local Guide
2026-07-26
Bečići is a long sandy beach with a resort attached: a promenade, a wall of hotels, and more restaurant tables per metre than almost anywhere on the Budva riviera. When you're hungry after a swim, the problem isn't finding food — it's choosing.
We run a restaurant here, so read this with that in mind. But a guide that only recommends its author isn't a guide, it's an advert. Bečići's food scene is genuinely good, our neighbours included, and you'll eat better all week if you know the map. Here it is, honestly.
Atlantic — the veteran
Every resort has one restaurant that was here before everything else, and in Bečići it's Atlantic: family-run for over four decades and the steadiest name on the strip. The menu leans Italian and Mediterranean — pasta, steaks, fish — portions are serious, and it holds the top spot among Bečići's TripAdvisor listings for a reason. If you want the safe, proven dinner, this is it.
Forsage — the crowd favourite
Forsage Gastro Lounge sits in the neighbourhood above the beach — no sea view, and it doesn't need one. It has one of the biggest review piles in the whole Budva area, and the reviews repeat three things: large portions, fair prices, plates that look like someone in the kitchen enjoys their job. Expect company; popularity is the one thing it never lacks.
Tri Ribara — the seafood institution
Technically next door in Rafailovići, a ten-minute walk along the water, Tri Ribara is the name every taxi driver knows: a fish restaurant on the seafront that's been feeding the coast for decades. In season it's crowded and booking ahead is wise. If your evening must involve grilled fish and the sound of water, this is the classic move.
The Georgian table — Zeta and Oda
Georgian food reached this stretch of coast too, and there are two ways to get it.
In Rafailovići, the restaurant at Hotel Zeta serves Georgian dishes with a seafront terrace — a solid option if you're already on that end of the promenade.
And in Bečići itself there's us: Oda, a family-run Georgian restaurant by the promenade, open 9:00–23:00. Breakfasts (shakshuka, a proper Georgian breakfast) before the beach; Adjarian khachapuri, five kinds of khinkali and the mangal after it. Vegetarians get real dishes — pkhali, eggplant rolls, mushroom khinkali — not a side salad. If you've never eaten Georgian before, start with our first-timer's guide and arrive hungry.
Three practical notes
- July and August evenings are busy everywhere. The good places fill from about eight. Book ahead — at ours it's one WhatsApp message; at the fish institutions, call.
- The promenade is walkable end to end, and Rafailovići continues straight from Bečići — treat the two as one long dinner street.
- Walking from Budva? The pedestrian tunnel at the end of Slovenska plaža brings you out at the start of Bečići beach. It turns dinner into an evening walk, which, after khachapuri, you'll want anyway.
