Restaurant Oda · Bečići
Georgian restaurant in Bečići, on the Budva riviera
Oda stands by the Bečići promenade, steps from the beach that made this resort famous — a few kilometres from Budva's Old Town, on the same bay. It's a family-run Georgian house by the sea: come straight off the sand for a long lunch, start the day with a Georgian breakfast or shakshuka, or let dinner stretch while the promenade drifts past.
The kitchen is the reason to come. Adjarian khachapuri with the yolk still trembling, khinkali folded by hand that afternoon, kharcho thick enough to stand a spoon in, mtsvadi off real coals — and Georgian wine, including qvevri bottles, with chacha for the brave. Vegetarians get real dishes: pkhali, eggplant rolls with walnut, mushroom khinkali. Guests on TripAdvisor call it a slice of Georgia on this coast; we call it dinner.
Bečići's restaurant row is long; a Georgian table on it is rare. If you're staying anywhere along the hotel strip — Iberostar Bellevue, Splendid, Mediteran and their neighbours — you can reach us on foot. If it's a birthday, say so when you book: the guest of honour gets 10% off.
